Yesterday I told you all a little about a virtual book club for kids of all ages, for which I will be co-hosting, called the Poppins Book Nook. The book club posts are published on the last Monday of each month, but until then, I am pleased to share with you the topic for the month of March: Where in the World?
For this topic I thought long and hard about a story which has a wonderful setting that would stir the imaginations of me and my kids. Finally, I decided to bring out an old book from my own childhood: The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. We are so excited about this selection, and can’t wait to share our activities and ideas with you all as we journey over to merry olde England and into Sherwood Forest of Nottinghamshire.
